*The product in reference is a pure hand made 100% Pashmina shawl which can have the following characteristics.

ORIGIN

*It is of Kashmir origin woven on small hand looms at the artisans place.

SIZE

*The size is 40/80 inches or 100/200 cms. But customised sizes can be made available.

TIME FRAME FOR WEAVING

*A shawl measuring 100/200 cms takes about two weeks to take the final

shape.

TIME FRAME FOR EMBROIDERY

*The completion period of embroidery making depends upon the area to be covered by the embroidery and its pattern.

ARTISANS AND WEAVERS

*It is made by adult male and females only and no child labour is involved in its manufacturing.

COLOR OF THE FABRIC

*The basic natural colour of the shawl is white but can be dyed to any other natural colours according to the shade card.

HAND EMBROIDERY

*The embroidery is purely hand made carried out at the artisans homes only and no other place is designated for it

CASHMERE

*Cashmere is light, soft, strong and warm wool obtained from the hair of Kashmir goat.

PASHMINA

*Pashmina is the warm fabric made from a variant of spun Cashmere and used to make Shawls, scarves and stoles etc.

CARE INSTRUCTION

*Dry clean only if u wish to iron it make sure you do that on a low heat and put a cotton sheet on top of your shawl/scarf and keeping it in a moistfree environment will give it a long life.
